Wasps vs Bees
There are 30,000 identified species of the wasp. While these insects are commonly mistaken for bees, there are few significant differences that set them apart. First, wasps are more likely to stalk and pray gatherings in search of human food. This is what makes them a common pest for home and business owners. Second, they’re much more aggressive and likely to sting. Part of this could be the fact they are able to sting multiple times without fatality while bees can only sting once. And third, they have fairly noticeable differences in appearance as wasps are more slender with a curve at the waist while bees are hairy with wider bodies. So which one is more dangerous around your home or business? The wasp, as they are more likely to build their nest on or within your structure and more likely to come out and sting your family and guests.
Green Wasp Control
Now that you have a better idea of the type of pest you’re dealing with, it’s time to schedule an extermination. While traditional extermination methods employee harsh chemicals to eliminate wasps on the interior and/or exterior a structure, newer methods utilize organic products to remove the infestation more safely. The benefits of scheduling a green pest control service rather than a traditional service include:
- A less time consuming process that doesn’t require a cleared-out structure
- A safer process that won’t affect your home or business’s natural surroundings
- A process that leaves your structure safe for pets, family and guests to inhabit after the treatment has been completed.
Green pest control service methods are clearly more beneficial than traditional pest control methods AND they’re just as effective. For more information regarding our services and/or to schedule an initial inspection, feel free to give us a call at 505-404-1440.
