Silverfish Pest Control
Silverfish got their common name because of their light grey coloring and fish like movements. They are nocturnal insects that typically grow to be 13-25 mm long and prefer areas with relatively high humidity. Newly hatched silverfish have a white appearance to begin with and develop a greyish hue and metallic shine as they get older. The female lays groups of about 60 eggs at once that can hatch in as little as two weeks. Because of their ability to reproduce in such large numbers, two silverfish can become a full-on infestation fairly quickly. This is why silverfish infestation has become a widespread problem for home and business owners across the globe.
Green Silverfish Control
Identifying and eliminating a pesky silverfish population quickly will help you and your pest control technician complete a quicker and easier extermination process. If you believe you have a silverfish infestation on your hands, it’s best to call an exterminator quickly rather than try to conduct the extermination process on your own. Part of the reasoning behind this is that many over-the-counter pest control products contain ingredients that can be harmful if used incorrectly. Here at GoGreen Pest Control, we use green pest removal products and techniques in place of the harsh chemicals and that traditional pest control providers use. Our customers prefer our organic pest control process for its ability to provide:
- A quick and easy process that doesn’t require clearing of the structure
- Treatment that doesn’t affect the natural environment surrounding a home or business
- A safe after-treatment environment for guests, family and pets
Your initial GoGreen treatment will consist of a comprehensive inspection and treatment. This will remove any existing pest populations and prevent future infestation. From there, your technician will work with you to develop a schedule for regular treatments that will maintain the pest barrier around your structure.
